““Mount Desert Island Community Sailing Center has given us a chance to stay useful in rewarding volunteer activities aimed at keeping this vital community organization alive and functioning—both in a physical and fiscal sense. All of these boats need launching and hauling and maintenance, and we have been welcomed and encouraged to help to our heart’s content. There is nothing like doing boat work in the winter to remind us that spring and new times on the water are approaching.””
