Junior Program Registration to Open March 7th, 2025
We are excited to announce we will be opening registration for all 2025 Junior Sailing Programs on March 7th!
While most of our staff will be back, we’re also welcoming 5 new instructors to the MDICSC family, all eager to pass on sailing knowledge and make lasting memories. And what better way to have some summer fun than sailing on the Great Harbor!
We once again have a significant camp fee reduction (while funds last) of 50% off for all year-round Mount Desert Island youth. So please be ready to secure your spaces on March 7th by visiting www.mdisailing.org

MDI High School Sailing Team Is Hot This Spring !
MDI Schools Sailing Team celebrates a successful fall season, competing in the PenBay Sailing League and excelling in regattas. With a mostly female team, they’re set for the Becton Cup all-girls event in Portland on Oct 26.
The season started in early April and on the 19th we hosted our first home regatta. The MDI Trojans took first place overall against five other schools from the PenBay Sailing League! Then, on May 3rd MDI placed second in Rockland. Next up is May 17th at Maine Maritime Academy for the Downeast Open which is considered the State Championship for Maine Schools. We will end the season on May 24th with our final home regatta off the Great Harbor Sailing Pavilion. If you're on the water that day please come cheer on our sailors or volunteer to help parents spectate.
